- The Soyombo Racers
- London to Ulan Batur, UK to Mongolia
- ON 19th July 2008, Sheryl Hickey, Lucy Glover and Becky Prosser, aka the Soyombo Racers, will be revving their one litre car engine alongside 299 other teams in Hyde Park, London. They plan to hurtle their little 94' Ford Fiesta on a mammoth journey all the way to Ulan Baatar, Mongolia, in hope they will inspire the charitable side in people. The charities who will benefit from their fundraising are Macmillan Cancer Care, Hope and Homes for Children and Mercy Corps. Please pledge your support for this ridiculously risky race on their team website (see bottom of page) and help the families, friends and individuals suffering from cancer, and those living with disease, disaster and abandonment in the third world.
